Guide to Dell

Dell is a vendor of home computers, laptops, servers and computer peripherals with 96,000 employees worldwide and an annual turnover of approximately 15 billion. The company was founded in 1984 and is listed on the stock exchange under the symbol DELL.

What differentiates Dell from its competitors is that ever since the company was founded it sold its products directly to consumers in the private, public and commercial segment. Dell computers and equipment are not available via retailers.

In order to obtain a Dell you can assemble, configure and buy your new PC or notebook over the Internet or phone. Selling direct gives the customer more bang for the money. And, as the hardware is produced just in time, you can get a Dell XPS and other great computers that feature the very latest advances in computer hardware.
