Scientists continue to learn more, but it's clear that climate change and global warming and cooling cycles have been going on
again and again since the far distant past. Until quite recently almost everyone thought that climate change belonged only in the far distant past or in the far distant future, but certainly not in our time. Although global warming is still a controversial issue, as evidence continues to accumulate, it is becoming increasingly evident that climate change can take place more rapidly than we had previously thought, and that human activities leading to increased greenhouse gas emissions are having an effect. Learn more about climate change evidence and effects through the many Bright Hub articles on the subject.
