The Complete Guide to Bebo

Bebo logoBebo is a social networking site that "provides an open, engaging, and fun environment that empowers a new generation to discover, connect and express themselves". Bebo was launched in 2005, and allows users to post blogs, photographs, questionnaires, videos and music to their profile.

Bebo was owned by AOL after they purchased it in 2008. In 2010, AOL was considering selling the service or shutting it down completely. Bebo was eventually sold to Criterion Capital Partners in June 2010.
