Wikijunior Ancient Civlizations IIThe Ancient civilizations of India, China, Rome, Greece and the Americas, to name a few, left a legacy of knowledge that profoundly affects our world today. When the library in Alexandria was burned much of the world's knowledge was lost. Scholars have been in search for this knowledge ever since. The importance of understanding and learning from the past is that it enables us to live mindfully in the present and informs our future. This guide has articles on the ancient civilizations of India, and other civilizations of antiquity, which cover a myriad of subjects from lesson plans and webquests to ancient biological understanding and ancient engineering feats.
