1. Purchase meat that is antibiotic and hormone free, in other words, fresh and organic. Choice selections of meats are whole chicken, turkey thighs, whole rabbit, and whole guinea fowl.

2. Purchase organ meat. It is extremely important to purchase organ meat that is from non-medicated animals and is organic.

3. Psyllium. Psyllium can be found in most grocer and health food stores and should be purchased as lose husk powder.

4. Dulse and kelp. These are trace minerals which should be added to your feline’s food.

5. Salmon oil. Salmon oil provides fatty acids for the feline and will help with her smooth coat.

6. Glandular supplement. These are supplements that are made from the glands of animals such as the spleen, brain and heart and provide an excellent source of nutrients.

7. Vitamin E. Vitamin E and B complex provided balanced vitamins and nutrients for your feline’s food.

8. If not in your kitchen, you will need to select an electric grinder to purchase. This will make the chore of grinding much easier.

Organic Cat Food Recipe

How to make your organic cat food:

1. Clean your grinder and plug it in.

2. Gather together your ingredients.

3. Take the animal carcass and cut it up into large pieces.

4. Leaving just a shaving of the bone attached, cut the meat from the bones and set bones aside in a large bowl.

5. Cut the meat into feline bite sized chunks.

6. Gather your organ meat. This should be 7 oz of raw liver. and 14 oz of animal raw heart meat.

7. Place the organ meat with the bones.

8. Add four egg yolks to the bowl of bones and organ meat.

9. Add your dry ingredients in a separate bowl. 4 capsules glandular supplement, 200mg vitamin B, 4000g salmon oil, 800 IU vitamin E. ¼ tsp. of both dulse and kelp and 4tsp. of psyllium.

10. Grind the meaty bones and organ meat.

11. Stir in the meat chunks to the ground bones and organs.

12. Add supplement mixture and stir well.

13. Spoon into small containers for freezer storing. Fill container ½ from top.

14. Label each jar and put the appropriate date.

15. Each container should stay in the freezer no longer than three months.
