Sony Memory Cards

Sony memory cards range from popular memory card formats to Sony-exclusive memory card formats. They may have different formats, but they all carry the same Sony promise of high speed and high performance.

    Most Sony memory cards are specifically designed to work with Sony devices like camcorders and digital cameras. These cards have a unique memory card format specific to Sony devices, but there are other products out there that have built-in compatibility with these Sony memory cards. However, Sony also offers memory cards with more universal formats like MicroSD and SD.

    Memory Stick Duo

    This memory card is designed to be as compact as possible, being a third of the volume of most standard-sized memory cards.     This memory card has a read speed of 30MB per second and a write speed of 20MB per second. It is essentially 4 times faster than the regular Memory Stick PRO Duo memory card, so if it is speed that you are looking for, this is your best bet among the available Sony memory cards. This is perfect for people who like continuous shooting like those who are taking videos or photos of live events. It comes in capacities of 8GB, 16GB and 32GB.

    8GB Memory Stick with TransferJet

    This memory card is designed for easy and fast data transfer between TransferJet devices. It has the capability to do the data transfer wirelessly, which saves you time and energy in not having to deal with connecting cables and positioning devices near each other. Even with non-TransferJet devices, it can also be used by employing the services of an MSACM2 adapter which is sold separately. If you have several TransferJet devices, this memory card has the capability to make your personal and professional life easier and more efficient.
