  • What online colleges would you recommend for pursueing a graduate degree?

I am interested in pursuing a masters degree.  I am most interested in getting my MBA, and would be interested in doing it online from a program with some level or respect but that isn't too costly.  What would you recommend?

    Hi Josh, great question!

There are many programs out there and one I can think of right now which is reputable and affordable is :

University of Alaska Southeast which offers the MBA Services Management through distance learning.$287/hr. 30-hr. is equal to $8,610. School is accredited by the Northwest Commission.

Thanks for the reply.  From the research I have done thus far, $287/hr is a very good rate compared to programs like the University of Pheonix that charges over $500.  Is the University of Alaska Southeast accredited by either the AACSB or ACBSP as well?  Should I care?

Also, since asking this question, I have found another resource I found useful that focuses on business degrees:

In general, for programs as a whole, someone else in another post recommended a site I found useful that reviews programs in general:

Hello, thank you for joining our discussion board.

You can check out our research about online colleges and master degree programs under, Online College Reviews and Online Master Degrees on the left hand side of the page under Topics. Here we have done thorough research to provide you with the best information about online colleges and programs. The best part about our articles to students is that we provide you with the information before you take the next step to actually contact the colleges. For some this is a great benefit as a student may just be in the research stage and not quite ready to take the step to contact an online college yet. Also, one of our very own, James wrote a whole series on how to decide on a masters degree program based upon accreditation, cost and so on.

    Thanks for sharing!
