    Neuropharmacology is a field of science and medicine that studies how brain neurons and drugs interact to influence mood, thinking, behavior, and sense. This field is a sub-field of molecular neuroscience. There are not many schools offering specific online neuropharmacology graduate degree programs, however, students can pursue graduate studies in related fields, such as molecular biology and behavioral biology and focus on neuropharmacology.

    Required Courses

They will also complete research rotations, a colloquium in biomedical sciences, and will attend a seminar in selected neuroscience topics.

    During their second year students will take classes in nervous system disorders and neuroanatomy, research classes, biostatistics, they will conduct research, they will take some of their required electives, and will complete another seminar in selected neuroscience topics.

    During their third year, they will conduct research, take some of their required electives, and seminars in selected neuroscience topics.

    During their fourth year, and every other year after the fourth year, students will complete all electives they still have to complete, conduct research, and attend seminars in selected neuroscience topics.

    Pursuing a graduate degree in neuropharmacology is time consuming and requires a lot of research, reading and critical thinking. Those pursuing this degree on a traditional college campus will spend most of there time on campus completing these, and all of the other required work and activities. However, those pursuing this degree online will be able to do much of this work from the comfort of their own home, particularly the reading, report writing, and much of the required research. This will allow them to pursue and complete this degree while still being able to stay in their current career, meet family obligations, and keep up with other things, such as hobbies, social activities, doctors appointments, and any other responsibilities they may have.
