Planning and Delivery of International Health Programs

Globalization and growth of multiculturalism in countries like Australia, the USA, and the UK has increased the importance of striving for an international health standard and focus for education in general. As people move around the world, societies are being challenged constantly with new public health issues arising from spread of disease across borders and the unique biological considerations required for diverse genetic groups.

A graduate certificate in international health enables health professionals to increase their awareness of biological diversity and its impact on health in their own countries in addition to providing individuals with the opportunity to work on international health programs either at home or abroad within a different culture. The primary focus is on the planning and delivery of public health programs in a global community. This course may be useful to health professionals interested in career advancement
