    Drexel University: The distance education program in Master's of Information Science/Systems with concentration in Library and Information Science, is completely online and accredited by the American Library Association (ALA).

    Clarion University: The school provides a variety of specialized course offerings, such as options in Competitive Intelligence and Knowledge Management, Digital Libraries, Library of Information Services, School Library Media, Youth Services or non- concentration courses. Accredited by the American Library Association and the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, this university's tuition is $481 per credit hour, including fees.

    University of Tennessee/Knoxville: The program for a M.S. in Library and Information Science, consists of 42 semester hours, thesis or non-thesis, and requires a 2-day on-campus orientation with an additional visit at the conclusion of the program for examination. The tuition for a full-time, non-resident student is $10,016, requiring a 3.25 grade point average when applying for the program.

    Florida State University: You can complete this Master of Library Science online program in less than 3 years, with 36 hours of credits at the cost of $932 for full-time non-state students. Courses that are included are Research Methods or Asssessing Information, Introduction to Information Policy or Foundations of Information Professions, Management of Information Organization and Information Organization. Florida State University is accredited by the American Library Association and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

    University of Southern Mississippi: Regionally accredited by the Commission of Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the American Library Association, students may earn their Master's Degree in Library and Information Science entirely online. A program of 39 credit hours, with an additional 21 credit hours of supplemental endorsement for School Library Media Specialist may be earned. The tuition cost is $425 per credit hour for out of state students. A few of the courses in the graduate program are; Introduction to Reference Resources Services, Cataloging and Classification, School Library Media Center, Development of Library Collection, Media Utilization, Literature and Related Media for Children, Storytelling, Information Ethics and Computer Application in Library.
