The dog obedience trainer/instructor program at Penn Foster Career School consists of 11 Instruction "Sets", each containing two or three lessons on various topics. After each instructional set is completed, an exam will be administered via online or mail and a passing score is required to continue to the next set. Each set of lessons also includes some graded projects for completion as well.

Ashworth Vet Assistant Program
Ashworth College is a nationally accredited online school that offers a variety of online degrees and diplomas. If you are interested in helping veterinarians take care of sick and injured animals, then the Ashworth Vet Assistant program may be right for you.
This online veterinary assistant training course/program consists of 22 individual lessons that each include objectives, directions from your instructors, vocabulary terms, a reading assignment, practice exercises, and an exam at the end.

Online Veterinary Continuing Education (CE)
Veterinary Education Online (VEO) is an online continuing education program for licensed veterinarians who are too busy to attend CE classes in person. This program is under the supervision of The Office of Public Engagement at the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Illinois and is a grant-funded program. Some of these CE courses may count as credit toward some states' licensing requirements. (Check with your state's board of licensing for more info.)
