    Overview

    Colorado Theological Seminary is an online institution that offers a variety of Christian education degrees. Affiliated with the NCCA, (National Christian Counselors Association) Colorado Theological Seminary is a certified academic institution for the NCCA. They provide Christian counseling certification through the NCCA. Associate and bachelor degrees are offered in the fields of ministry and biblical studies. Masters of ministry, biblical studies, Christian counseling, theology in Christian counseling, and clinical pastoral counseling are also available. Doctoral programs are additionally available in ministry, biblical studies, Christian counseling, theology in Christian counseling and clinical pastoral counseling. This faith-based online institution is non-denominational. The seminary's doctrine is posted on the website.

    Affiliations

    Colorado Theological Seminary is accredited by the Accrediting Commission International. It is an affiliate institution with the Association for Biblical Higher Education. CTS is a certified academic institution with the NCCA, or National Christian Counseling Association. The Seminary provides Christian counseling certification through the NCCA. NCCA courses are a part of the counseling degree programs. CTS is a member of ACCESS, or the Association of Christian Continuing Education Schools and Seminaries, and is affiliated with the Institute of Theological Studies.

    Very Affordable

    Colorado Theological Seminary courses are very affordable. Undergraduate courses are $180 per course, while graduate courses cost $210 each. NCCA counseling courses, which are required for the Christian counseling certification programs are a little more expensive at $310. The institution encourages a pay-as-you-go method of payment. There is no scholarship program and grants are not available, but the afford-ability is a real plus. CTS does offer a 10% discount to current military service personnel and veterans. Entire program costs can be viewed on the institution's website for each degree program. The Christian counseling master's degree program with NCCA licensure can be completed for $3810, which is very affordable.

    Degree Programs

    There are a variety of degree programs to choose from at Colorado Theological Seminary. Two associate and bachelor degree choices are available in the fields of ministry and biblical studies. If you're looking for a masters degree, there are several more options through CTS. Ministry and biblical studies are offered at the master's level, as well as a masters in Christian counseling and a master's in theology of Christian counseling. A master of arts in clinical pastoral counseling is also available. In addition, there is a master of arts in divinity and a master of arts in church history. The master of Christian counseling online program provides NCCA licensure. The same programs at the masters level are offered at the doctoral level.
