Tell Me More Premium English is the best way to easily learn or improve English for someone you love or care about!

Improving Skills

Is there a special someone in your life, a friend, a family member or significant other who needs an easy, accessible, and convenient way to learn or improve his or her English skills? Tell Me More Premium English is probably what I would buy for those special, non-English speaking persons in my life because I believe this it is exactly what they need!

Installation & Setup
Rating Excellent

What's Hot:&nbsp
Installing the CD appropriate to your level is a simple one-step process. You then select a user name and a password. Tell Me More Premium English supports multiple user accounts. [See Image 6]

User Interface
Rating Excellent

What's Hot:&nbsp
The graphic interface is simple and easy to navigate, thanks to the animations that guide you through Tell Me More Premium English. You will always know where to click and where to go next. [See Images 7 and 8] The voice recognition is effective, based on S.E.T.S. (Spoken Error Tracking System) technology that automatically pinpoints your pronunciation errors. [See Image 9]

What's Not:&nbsp

Pay little attention to the voice recognition graphs, as they are by no means accurate.

Price to Value
Rating Good

What's Hot:&nbsp
Priced around $265, Tell Me More Premium English is an accessible, user-friendly, and, most of all, complete multimedia language learning package that will have the user communicating in English sooner than they think. Considering all that is included and offered, this is a solid, attractive, and nicely priced package. If the user owns an iPod or similar device, or would like to listen and practice in the car, he or she can extract individual dialogs and spoken exercises for transfer to MP3 players or burn exercises to a CD.

What's Not:&nbsp
The headset that is included is cheap. You will want to go out and purchase a better one.

Product Features
Rating Excellent

What's Hot:&nbsp

Tell Me More Premium English includes four levels of lessons: Complete Beginner, Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. There is also an audio CD, as well as a headset with microphone. Frankly, this headset/microphone is not the best in terms of quality. It is not USB, has only one earpiece, and feels flimsy. That said, the voice recognition feature works decently even with your PC's built-in microphone. The “Learn English Everywhere” audio CD is a welcome addition but no great shakes. There is one new feature, however, that is decidedly more exciting and will substantially help reinforce your learning: you can extract specific audio files to make your own audio CD or play them on any iPod or similar device. This feature is an indication that Auralog successfully incorporates current trends in technology to keep up with changing consumer needs and habits.

Performance
Rating Good

What's Hot:&nbsp
Tell Me More Premium English doesn’t require a fast or powerful computer. It performs well even on older PCs.

What's Not:&nbsp
There are only a few minor issues. Voice recognition is very good, but still at times imperfect. The program can be a bit unforgiving. However, exercises can be repeated over and over, in order to help learners acquire confidence.

Help & Support
Rating Average

What's Not:&nbsp
If you were to experience technical difficulties, there does seem to be a problem with Auralog support. The User Manual, for starters, would not be easy to read for older people, as the type is really small. Calling the toll-free number listed on the back of the manual (well, if you’re able to read the small characters) takes you to the company’s general switchboard, which asks you for your party extension and gives you information on how to access the company’s directory, but tells you nothing about technical support. Calling the other, non-toll-free number listed will not do you any good either, as it is not working. A quick look at Auralog's website reveals that they have changed location, and therefore phone numbers have changed. The new direct line is (602) 470-0300. However, you will be greeted with the same general “if you know your party's extension” message. You will need to press 0 and speak with a representative in order to be redirected to customer support. They also provide support via email at supportretail@auralog.com.

Suggested Features

  • A better quality headset in the package, or remove it altogether to keep the price competitive.
  • Maybe add a few videos, although the animated/dynamic pictures work fine.
  • Increase the font size of the User Manual as a courtesy to older learners.
  • Conclusion

Tell Me More Premium English is a high-quality product that is intuitive and easy to use. There are a few frustrating moments with speech recognition, but otherwise the easy-to-understand interface will always guide you and let you know what you should do next. It’s easy to pick up and use in the way that best reflects your interests and needs. You can skip parts if you are pressed for time or are unable to speak at that moment, and you can simply select the types of activities you want to work on. The person who gets this product will learn real and authentic American English. Last but not least, he or she will also learn about American culture.

    Audio Based Spoken English Lessons
    Dear Sir/Madam,

The club members of our spoken English Institute are planning to bring out different audio lessons under the name and style of DIGI TALK MASTER ENGLISH.

The 90 minutes audio lessons, classified under 20 different categories will comprise of several unit lessons of 2 to 7 minutes roughly.

Some of the categories are as follows

1 Basic English 2 Intermediate English 3 Advanced English 4 Travel English 5 Business English 6 Telephone English 7 Medical English 8 Power English 9 British Accent Training 10 American Accent Training 11 Songs, Drama, Mini stories, Public speaking etc.

In the preparation of the above categories, for example TRAVEL ENGLISH all conversations related to travel and allied matters only will be included in that category.

quality should stimulate interest in the listeners to learn and perform through listening practice.

We would like to know about the expenses involved for the preparation of the same.

Expecting an early reply from your end.

    Thanking you,

    Sincerely yours,

    Florence Srinivas
