总是【zǒngshì=always】is used for the normal things that someone always do in daily life.
Example 1:
Every day she always goes to the supermarket.
每天【měitiān=every day】 她【tā=she】 总是【zǒngshì= lways】 去【qù=go】 超级市场【chāojíshìchǎng=supermarket】。
每天 她 总是 去 超级市场。
Example 2:
They always study in the library.
他们【tāmen=they】 总是【zǒngshì=always】 在【zài=at】 图书馆【túshūguǎn=library】 里【lǐ=in】 学习【xuéxí=study】。
他们 总是 在 图书馆 里 学习。
Example 3:
During working time, he always looks at her.
上班【shàngbān=on duty, start work】 的【de】 时候【shíhòu=time】，他【tā=he】 总是【zǒngshì=always】 看【kàn=look at】 她【tā=she】。
上班 的 时候，他 总是 看 她。
Example 4:
We always fly from a country to another one.
