Keeping grades, attendance, and other student data organized can be overwhelming. Easy Grade Pro organizes the student information and makes a teacher's life easier.

Using EGP

Teachers spend many hours beyond their planning period grading papers, entering the grades into the grade book and calculating scores. Easy Grade Pro or EGP software takes student information or data and organizes it into readable charts on the computer and printable reports. It is available for Mac and Windows and is produced by the Orbis Software company.

It Is Called Easy Grade Pro Because of Its Ease of Use

I have been using Easy Grade Pro for over six years. I can post class score charts often to help students keep track of their assignments. In addition, I can print off individual grade reports for students so that they can see their missing assignments. Also, I can send reports via email to their parents. As compared to the old days of writing down missing assignments and grades, this is so much easier.

Inputting the Information

It is so easy to input the information into the grade book. The manner in which information is put into the system is very intuitive. The grade book looks like a paper one, but the software weights and adds up the scores. It can keep track of many classes and multiple terms or grading periods. There are many columns for student data.

Other Great Features

The software can also keep track of attendance and seating charts. With the click of a mouse, the software can produce charts and/or reports for every class. Another nice feature is the class graph. With one glance, a teacher can look at the class graph and see how many F's and/or A's have been earned in a class.

EGP has other great features too and can be used on both desktops and handheld computers. There is a demonstration version available for download to try the software out in the classroom. The best part is that a teacher can sit down the first time and enter grades quickly.
