Not since the creation of the printing press or the writing of the first dictionary has the world of education benefited so much.

Quality
Rating Excellent

If you're looking for great teacher websites, look no further than BrightHub.com's K-12 Learning Channel.

When asked to list the greatest technological and social innovations since the creation of the Universe, I came up with the following list (in no particular order):

  • The wheel
  • Sliced bread
  • Scrabble
  • The <ctrl z> feature on Microsoft Word
  • Zippers
  • The Printing Press
  • Democracy
  • Debit Cards
  • Brighthub.com

I know what you're thinking. You think that my review is somehow swayed by the fact that I write for Brighthub. That's simply not true. Have I said anything even remotely hyperbolic in regards to my praise of the absolute greatest Website in the history of network technology? I didn't think so. Teachers, numbering millions, flock to Brighthub.com's K-12 Learning site for lesson plans, information, teacher tips, exams, and ways to kill time while students are testing. In short, the BrightHub K-12 learning channel is not just the best teacher website on Earth; it's the best website on Earth.

Education Related Topics
Rating Excellent

Looking for viewpoints on school prayer, how to get wealthy as a teacher, how to deal with parents, how to control a classroom, reasons to become a teacher, and other hot, teacher topics (note: hot modifies topics, not teacher; if you're looking for hot teachers, click here)?

Unlike some so-called great teacher websites that solicit their expert opinions from lawyers, politicians, bitter college dropouts, that guy whose high school coach had it in for him, and some random radio talk show host who pretends to know everything about education even though he never passed the third grade, brighthub.com staffs actual teachers. Imagine that, a teacher website with articles written by teachers! So when you come to Brighthub.com's K-12 learning site, be assured you are getting expert viewpoints from expert teachers.

Lesson Plans
Rating Excellent

I'm not one for hyperbole, so when I say Brighthub.com's K-12 Learning Channel employs the Shakespeare, Picasso, Lebron James, Babe Ruth, and Bill Gates of lesson plan writers, I mean it.

I'm sure you've seen those so-called great teacher websites with so-called lesson plans that contain no practical information. I'm sure you've also been to those book company lesson plan sites that contain lesson plans that can only be used with a specific book. And I'm sure you've been to those sites with lesson plans written by lawyers and politicians who think they know how to teach. At Brighthub.com's K-12 Learning site, be assured that the lesson plan you're using had been used already by an actual teacher in an actual classroom.

If you want a lesson plan on strong verbs for writing, a lesson plan on ancient Egypt, or a Kindergarten Science lesson plan, you'll find it at Brighthub. Brighthub.com is the place to go for brilliant, teacher lesson plans (Note: brilliant modifies lesson plans, not teacher. If you're looking for a brilliant teacher, click here).

What a great job! I am going to use your rubric for my RSP students in 8th grade if that is ok. I teach a study skills class 7th period.
