Bright Hub is seeking a Media Sales Executive to sell online advertising and media products. The Account Executive will need to do 100% inside sales: prospecting and closing on the phone. There is an opportunity to earn $100,000+ in first year.

Bright Hub is looking for a smart and motivated sales professional to help accelerate sales efforts and get the company to a predictable, high growth revenue stream as it crosses 5 million pageviews within the next several months. Bright Hub is looking for ambitious individuals with the ability to identify and close business. The ideal person is a self starter and hungry to prove their potential.
In this position, you will be consulting and selling to technology, education, health, and science media buyers, marketing managers, and PR planners at small and medium sized businesses. You will be prospecting and closing business via phone, webinars, email campaigns, on-site lead capture and more.

Responsibilities
- Define and hit sales targets by working with executive management team
- Establish a consistent pipeline on a daily basis via lead generation
- Identify clients’ needs and cultivate effective sales strategies via phone
- Post launch, work with an On-site Advertising Operations Manager to ensure consistent value is delivered to the client and potential for up sell is realized
- Act as the liaison for the customer to ensure expectation of value and service are being met
- Establish sales process and work with product manager for ad productization efforts
- Contribute leadership through your experience and work ethic
- Responsible for building a book of business by developing long lasting beneficial relationships.
- Great opportunity to upsell, unlimited growth on your book of business and help your clients take full advantage of the constantly evolving online marketing and advertising capabilities
- Work with marketing to keep lead pipeline full and contribute ideas for lead generation
Job Requirements
- 2-5 years experience making outbound calls to generate advertising sales with media buyers, PR professionals, and online marketing managers.
- Comfortable with prospecting and cold calling
- Proficient at conducting needs analysis
- The ability to engage clients as you build relationships quickly and effectively
- Strong sales track record with proven success in creating sales presentations and developing long-term relationships with clients
- Must enjoy working independently and thrive on improving processes and collaborating with team members
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- PC proficiency is necessary including MS Office (Excel) and Outlook
