Hubfolio is an exciting new initiative from Bright Hub built especially for the professional online writer.  The purpose of Hubfolio is to be a place where both seasoned content creators and new writers trying to make a name online can showcase their professional and personal style, as well as encompass their portfolio of content for potential employers.  Members of Hubfolio can and will take advantage of a specialized environment featuring personal content creation resources (blogs, forums, training), content marketing tools (personal enewsletters, social media feeds), as well as centralized portfolio management (work examples, profiles and credentials).   

For writers new to creating content for the digital consumer, this will provide a very supportive environment to grow your efforts in becoming an professional online writer.  Training, community support, and a robust set of features to help you be more successful in your career path.

Our goal is to help writers earn more income online.  Whether it is with Bright Hub, your own marketing and promotion efforts through the social media and portfolio tools we will be providing in Hubfolio, or whether companies come to Bright Hub to tap into the wealth of writer expertise to help fulfill their own content creation needs. Joining Hubfolio

To get started with your own Hubfolio beta account, we ask that you register first for a Bright Hub account.  Then drop us a line and let us know your newly created Bright Hub username, as well as the full name you would like to use at the top of your Hubfolio.  We recommend you use a name potential employers would consider professional.
 
Compensation

Once the beta period is over, everyone in Hubfolio will be compensated via revenue sharing.  On the expert content side of Bright Hub, writers are paid upfront for articles.  In Hubfolio writers are not.  Hubfolio is a training and testing ground to vet new writers and for writers already accepted into expert Bright Hub, a way of enhancing a portfolio of online work for additional opportunities.

In addition, if you always wanted  to be a Managing Editor of your own channel to increase your monthly income, here's your chance!  Illustrate to us in Hubfolio that there is demand for the content you are providing and we will work with you to make this happen!

Also, just like other blogs you might own, you will be able to have a certain number of places to link to your ‘own’ affiliate programs from within Hubfolio.  This is your opportunity to promote you and enhance your ability to earn even more online.
