Internet Explorer, Firefox or Opera - Mozilla Firefox, you had me at hello !

As Jerry Maguire once said 'We live in a cynical world'. Indeed we do, and as the battle lines are drawn once again between Microsoft and the rest of the techno-world it is intriguing to see who will come out on top now that the World Wide Web truly embraces culture, society, psyche. In fact most of what we do.

The internet has changed the way we live our lives. As such the web browsers that provide us with the vehicle to ride on this communications superhighway are becoming ever more powerful. That means a web browser war between Internet Explorer, Firefox and Opera (the big three) is brewing. Of course they all boast of unbeatable service and speed but this can't be true. Now we need so much more than a simple information dissemination medium. We need an internet browsing vehicle that offers us a whole new world of interaction.

Because of all these power games between the big boys, and because of all the tips and tweaks that they constantly try to outdo one another with, I would love to know what browsers you all use? How you came to such a decision? Would you ever go back to that old hag if she had a makeover?

Oh, for the record...for me Mozilla Firefox, is Dorothy Boyd. She is the ultimate (configurable) tool for using the internet. If I wanted to be melodramatic I could even say ‘She completes me’.

Good ol' IE. For me, FF offers no real advantages. I can, however, see why Flock would appeal to some users!

To true Brett, you can't grumble with IE for most requirements - I have both IE and FF on my machines, but for slicker browsing and greater peace of mind Firefox is great. IMHO.
