Free Email Services That You Can Use With Outlook Express

Several free email services provide POP3 and IMAP access, which is needed to use your email account with desktop email clients such as Outlook Express or Thunderbird. Let’s take a look at some of the email services that you can access from Outlook Express or other email clients.

However, setting up your email account with any email client requires a POP3 or IMAP access to your email server and the bad news is that most email service providers charge you for POP3 and IMAP access. However the good news is that there are quite a few email providers who provide POP3 and IMAP access for free and you can use any of these email accounts with your email client like Outlook Express.     GMail needs no introduction. This free email service from Google has changed many aspects of emailing and provides a user friendly and feature rich email experience for the user. GMail is the most popular option when it comes to free POP3 and IMAP access to your email. Setting up GMail POP3 and IMAP with any email client like Outlook, Thunderbird is very easy and GMail also provides step by step guides on this.


    AOL Mail (also known as AIM Mail) is another popular free email service. AOL Mail provides unlimited storage, spam and virus protection, lets you access your emails from mobile devices, integrates buddy lists. AOL provides POP3 and IMAP access to your email for free which lets you access your emails from your email client.


    Lavabit is a free email service. Lavabit focuses on your privacy and at the same time tries to provide a fast and reliable POP3 email account.     Zapakmail offers unlimited email storage space. It supports large attachments of up to 16 Mb in size. It features anti virus support, spam filter and other standard features. Zapakmail provides POP3 access for free that allows you to use your Zapakmail using any email client like outlook.
