Backup Your Registry in Windows 7
Before using any application to clean or repair your registry, I would suggest that you back up all your registry entries first.
To back up your Windows 7 registry,
Go to Start > Run > regedit.
Open the Registry Editor and click on File > Export and save the whole registry data to a file you want to. Remember to select the Export Range as All.
Once your registry is backed up, you can try to restore the registry using any of these tools.

It's free to use, so you won't have to buy anything. It will first create a restore point during the installation in case things go haywire.
Start Little Registry Cleaner and click on the Scan Registry option. Set it to scan all the sections.
After the scanning is complete, it will show you a list of all the problems and errors in the registry. Select the Fix Problems option and click OK.
It will now repair your registry data and fix all the problems in it. When it's finished, your Windows 7 Registry will be repaired.
If you want to revert back, you can click on the Restore Registry option and select the backup you want to restore back to.
