If you have an apple tv or airport express you've probably wondered if it's possible to play music that isn't within your itunes music library (example: music from another application or music from a website like Pandora.com or Last.fm).  Pandora.com, a personalized online streaming radio service, has recentley gained a lot of attention with music fans including myself so I was intersted to see if it was possible to pump the music from Pandora.com over to my Apple TV.  After doing a quick search on google I discovered a great little application called Airfoil (http://rogueamoeba.com/airfoil/mac/).

Airfoil allows you to send any music from your mac to your airport express, apple TV, and even other Macs and PCs.  If you have a home stereo system hooked up to either an apple TV or an airport express then you can now stream great music from Pandora throughout the rest of your house.

Airfoil is free to try and $25 to buy.  The trial version only allows you to stream music for up to 10 minutes.  Although it may seem a little pricy I recommend you give it a try and see for yourself how great it works.

I agree that Airfoil is a great product (like everything that Rouge Amoeba does). I use it all the time with my Airport Express.
