A while back, my beloved Beagle dog chewed my keyboard cable in half. I took one look at the wires and decided it wasn’t worth trying to splice back together. Little did I know, my hunt for an affordable keyboard would send me to several different stores until I found what I was looking for in the Logitech Classic Keyboard 200.
Keyboard shopping at your local retail store can be eye-opening. It seems that most of the options are either wireless keyboards or ones that also come with a mouse. I didn’t want to bother with the wireless stuff, nor did I want to pay the extra money for one, and I didn’t need another mouse. I saw keyboard prices ranging from 40 to 80 dollars, which is a bit ridiculous. I knew I could find one for cheap online, but I didn’t want to wait several days for one to be shipped in the mail. I needed to replace my keyboard that very day!
After visiting Circuit City, Best Buy, Office Depot, Wal-Mart, and even Radio Shack, I finally found what I was looking for at Office Max. Everywhere I looked for a keyboard, all they had were cheap off-brand stuff that I wasn’t interested in, or the pricey wireless jobs that I didn’t want to pay so much for. Office Max had this Logitech Classic Keyboard 200 for just $19.99, and that was exactly within my price range.
