What is the Sentinel Advance Gaming Mouse?

The latest product of this cooperation is the Sentinel Advance gaming mouse. Two years in development the Sentinel Advance is a professional grade gaming mouse that looks great(unfortunately we have only seen pictures at this time). The mouse has a sleek ergonomic design and is said to offer a solid grip and detailed control.

    The Specifications:

The Sentinel Advance is enhanced with Storm Tacticsthe biggest advantage of this is that every aspect of the mouse can be controlled using the software that comes with the Sentinel Advance.

The Sentinel uses a 5600 DPI Storm Tactical Sensor and uses twin lasers for Doppler effect processing. Because of this the Sentinel Advance has real-time tracking as supposed to the software predicted tracking that is usually used in similar products. This should mean deadly accuracy. With the solid button response this should make for a deadly combination.

What Can Be Controlled By The Software?

The Sentinel Advance will come with a GUI which will allow you to control nearly every thing that is important to a gamer. Sensitivity rages, rapid fire modes and macro's are just some of the features. Al of this can be saved in five user profiles offering a means of quickly reconfiguring the mouse for different styles of game play. The profiles are stored on the internal memory of the Sentinel Advance so even traveling from PC to PC is easily done with out loosing your favorite settings.

Profiles and DPI adjustments can be triggered directly on the mouse itself. This means more time for game play while you play you can toggle modes without interrupting your game.

Does the Pretty Screen, LEDS And Easy Weight Setting Make it the Best Gaming Mouse?

The OctoshadeLED technology gives you the ability to change LED colors and light effects. This allows for quick identification of active profiles or just simple eye-candy. This gaming mouse comes with an OLED screen which gives you the ability to display clan logo's.

Mouse weight is a very personal thing. I normally use fishing weights which I glue inside the mouse that I'm using with a hot glue gun. With the Sentinel Advance there is no need to do this anymore. The Sentinel Advance has five little weight on the bottom of the mouse which let you set the mouse weight from 0-22.5 grams in increments of 4.5 grams. This again proves that CM Storm listens to what the gamer wants.

CM Storm also includes the patented StormGuardsecurity solution. This allows you to secure the Sentinel Advance to the back of the case using an empty PCI slot. The USB cord threads through the StormGuard and then plugs into your computer you are using on the LAN-party thus preventing theft of your high-end gaming gear.

With all of these features combined, the Sentinel Advance may be the best gaming mouse currently available on the market.
