Watchguard provides an easy to install software used in the management of their business firewalls. The installation is straight forward and easy to use. Setting a static IP address to your computer and communicating with IP, the installation wizard walks you through step by step in setting up the basic needs of your firewall. The GUI interface after installation provides an excellent, easy to use system to provide control and security of your network.

The features listed below are just a few of the excellent features available with this well written and easy to use software. Watchguard offers an extensive report system that provides logs of incoming and outgoing traffic. With graphical views of traffic from hosts and services, the graphical management through a GUI interface makes this one of the easiest to use and most powerful security solutions available today.

Webblocker (optional) service - This service allows you to filter internet websites through a predefined database downloaded thru the Watchguard interface. This invaluable tool allows you to automatically filter millions of websites and offers an override feature.

After the installation of the aforesaid firewall, WatchGuard's performance was above reproach. Controlling more than 300 users can be a logistical nightmare. With the easy to use interface, policies and performance could be set and watched at a glance. The firewall's CPU and memory's performance was excellent. There was no slow down and with Webblocker in place, questionable sites were filtered appropriately.

At $3500+ this firewall protects your data and is well worth the money. If your business has assets to protect, this is a small price to pay for total protection from data loss.
